Highlights from November

As we quickly approach the end of 2023, our November has been packed with exciting projects! Highlights include taking VertiCo's branding to another level and continuing our relationship with Business NSW by designing their Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan. November was also significant as we welcomed a diverse range of new clients, making us excited for 2024! Keep reading for our November wrap-up.

Earlier this year, VertiCo Elevator Solutions approached us to create a custom website. We knew that in order to appeal to their target audience and take their business to the next level, a rebrand was required too. We were thrilled by the way the team embraced our recommendations, allowing us to create a sleek, modern and premium brand identity. The new brand utilises a simple black-and-white colour scheme and geometric shapes to create elevator motifs.

Instagram's new filters

With the ongoing popularity of platforms like TikTok and YouTube, Meta has been working hard to roll out new features for the Instagram platform. And let's be honest. It was about time!

Originally a platform for users to share and easily edit photos, Instagram had not seen any major updates for quite some time.

Many users turned to third-party apps to edit their photos and videos, as Instagram had not been focusing on content creators' needs—until now.

With an update that includes 25 new filters, a variety of new editing tools (such as custom stickers, and enhanced options to scale, crop, and rotate individual clips), Instagram is finally giving its users what they want.

Minimalist packaging design

Walk into any shop and you'll find many different products screaming for your attention.

It's not surprising that many package designs are bold in colour, contain heavy illustrations and in-your-face-fonts' However, many brands have recently embraced the less is more approach.

And there's a great reason for it. Many consumers are looking for healthier products. Products without preservatives. Products with fewer ingredients. And products that are fair to both people and animals.

We were not surprised that recent research has shown consumers are willing to pay more for products whose packaging design aligns with their expectations.

Let's be honest: amidst all the screaming, a calm and welcoming design might just capture your attention first.

Introducing Tom, Digital Marketer at Greenhouse Creative.

How do you spend your 9-5?

Greenhouse Creative has been a household name as the branding, web and marketing expert in our local area for the past 20 years. And we are extremely proud of that reputation! As a Digital Marketer, I run online and offline campaigns to help our clients grow using social and online marketing and of course to also spread the word about how our fantastic team of creative geniuses can help businesses realise their goals and dreams with our unique personal approach.

How do you spend your 5-9?

I love to cook and find it an extremely relaxing activity to wind down from all the exciting things that happen at Greenhouse Creative. After consuming all that yumminess, I bring my children to bed and either grab my guitar to record some tunes, listen to horror audiobooks (Stephen King), or watch something mind-numbing on Netflix. I might also send hundreds of Instagram reels to colleagues, but I can neither confirm or deny that.
