One of the things we aim to achieve with Siteflex is a high self-help factor. That is, Siteflex administrators should be able to fairly easily, almost inuitively, figure out how any standard function is intended to work.
Of course not all Siteflex functions are straight forward and may require a little extra explanation or at least the occasional reminder. Plus not all of Siteflex's administrators have a lot of experience with web applications or even computers in general - which is something we're actually very happy, even proud, about.
So, every now and then folks need a little extra help. One of the ways we provide this little extra help while aiming to achieve this goal of accessible self-help is through the Inline Help found throughout the various modules of Siteflex.

Most Siteflex users are familiar with Siteflex's Inline Help already - but we've been looking at expanding the Help system to be easier to find relevant information. As recently announced (in under 140 characters) on Twitter, we have achieved a few initial upgrades to the Help system.
Related Links are now shown in a consistent fashion after the main Help article. Often these will be links to Siteflex support videos (hence the video icon!).
The most useful feature of the recent upgrade would have to be the new Related Help area, which allows Siteflex users to jump to related help items quickly.

But truthfully, the best features of the Help upgrade are those features that only the team at Siteflex HQ can utilize. It is now much easier for the team to quickly update a Help item, define multiple related links, tag the Help item into the related help groups and generally make Help items easier to find.
Of course, the side affect of this is that Siteflex Inline Help gets updated more regularly! Infact, a lot of the Help has been given a good once-over by the Siteflex team already.
While we hope these upgrades help the Inline Help system take a further step towards providing relevant, useful self-help, there's more steps on the way. Next step? Inline Search for Help. Perhaps someday we'll even allow Wiki-style Inline help... but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves! One step at a time.
Enjoy the extra help!
