Today we're introducing a new "Unsubscribe" link to Mailouts based on continuning user feedback that the "Manage My Subscriptions" link is not clear to people who are wishing to quickly stop receiving Mailflex emails.

So what's the difference, why both links?

Manage My Subscriptions

• Select from a list of this Siteflex website's Mailflex publications.
  ie. A user may be interested to receive a Mailflex publcation about Website Technology but not a publication about the Latest Lady Gaga News.
• Alternatively, a user is given the option to quickly Unsubscribe from ALL of this Siteflex website's publications; including future publications that have not yet been created.

Unsubscribe

• User may select to receieve no more publications from this Siteflex website; current and future.
• Also be provided a link to the Manage Subscriptions page, but in most cases Users will just be keen to Unsubscribe and move on.

Like the Siteflex Sitemap page, both the Unsubscribe and Manage My Subscriptions pages now also no longer require a page to be manually created by the Siteflex Administrator - even better!

These pages now also allow a logged-in website user to adjust their own publications without having to first receieve a Mailflex email.
 

Given the above facts, we are now also displaying Manage My Subscriptions and Unsubscribe links in Test Mail and in Mailout website previews - which should eliminate any concerns about whether or not those links will appear in the final Mailout!

All up this means less to be concerned about, less to manage, more options and more happy Unsubscribers!
