The plight of the spell checker - is your browser equipped?
7 May, 2008
Thank goodness for the Internet, standardisation, and latest generation browsers that keep pushing forward...
More and more there is a push toward standardised technologies - and certainly one area where this is a proving to be exceptionally useful and practical is in web applications. A great example of this is in browser-based Spell Checkers - allowing Internet users access to standardised, consistent and up-to-date spell checking for across of their favourite websites.
The latest version of Firefox comes with a good inline spell checker out of the box. While Internet Explorer 7 has a few downloadable add-on options of it's own, such as the popular ieSpell, that give this "other white meat" browser some powerful spell checking options as well.
Both of these browsers and the spell-checkers perched under their wings are fully compatible with Siteflex and Siteflex Content. If you haven't already, get onboard the spell check bandwagon today and make this world a betar spellered palace!
